DSLRigger – Ep.3 – 3D Scanning Handles

In this episode we’re taking a look on how to use real world objects to create a shape, then digitalize (3D-scan) that part and use it within a design.

We’re using MakerBots Digitizer (unpacking coming soon) to digitalize a clay-model that was designed to fit a “normal swede”. It should fit rest of the world quite alright…

The model is then processed in Autodesk Meshmixer and McNeel Rhino 3D to become a proper surface model.
