Print-in-Place Standing Pumpkin Halloween

This cute but O-So-Scary pumpkin has a surprise for you when printed! Pull it off the buildplate and it can stand on it’s own legs!

Comes with or without eyes and (soon) versions for multicolor single-extruder (with assembly) or multicolor dual-extruder 2 and 4 color.

This deadly army skull hitch cover will surely bring some spooktober feeling!

This cool army skull (with complete M1 helmet) will cover your hitch ball in style. I've added 50mm standard as well as all american standards: 1-7/8 inch, 2 inch and 2-5/16 inch.

There are two options. First one being a single print file for 1-color prints. The other one is two seperate STL files that can be glued together if you want the helmet in one color and the skull in another. Note that you DONT need a dual-extruder 3D-printer to get it done.

I recommend using manual support material on the brim of the helmet (to avoid material inside the hitch-hole).

If enough of you ask for a non-support-version I can lower the helmet more into the skull so the angle is more like 50-60 degrees and printable without supports. It just looks uglier.

Make sure you use the same standard for Helmet and Skull if you print two pieces (they are scaled to only fit each standard).

Due to it's size I'd go with thicker layers, 3 shells and roughly 15-20% infill.

Use support on the outside of the helmet for best results.

This 3D Printing kit lets you 3D print your own SpaceX Dragon 2 capsule on your 3D Printer!

I'm a huge fan of SpaceX and with the launch of their Dragon 2 demo-mission I wanted to release a detailed model to celebrate!

I've also designed a hinge for the nose cone (that's easily replaced if broken when playing with it).

If you print this model at 100% scale, there are 2x 1.75mm holes that you can cut away a piece of filament and push in, to keep the hinge-parts to move out. Don't glue as you might want to replace it if you accidentally break the lid/hinges!

This is designed to be printed in PLA with a 0.4mm nozzle on a 200x200mm build plate. Scaling down to around 75% is OK to fit on smaller build plates. NOTE: scaling to 90% is confirmed with Release 2 (hinged version) Lower than that will be troubles on standard FDM-printers.

There is a tiny gap modeled for better fitting in "full" scale. If you want to create a HUGE model, contact me and I'll adjust the gap for you. The circle in the heat-shield and (upcoming) main capsule is to help break surface tension on the first 2-3 layers, reducing risk of warping, but as a commentator stated; will add a little to the print time.

All recently updated files are named “release 2”. 1st released files are clearly named "old..." updated design is closely based on live footage during the actual docking with ISS.

3D Printing Settings:

• PLA settings for your machine. The better quality, the better this will look and work!

• Use some support on the Nose-cone and possible front-door.

• The capsule don't need support at 100% scale or smaller.

• Use 4 bottom layers for best results.
