Peopoly Magneto X Launched

Peopoly just released a new FFF 3D printer, the Magneto X that uses linear motors. What are those?

The new Magneto X is peopolys first FFF (FDM) 3D Printer. The company is well known for making excellent resin 3D printers and have now taken a huge leap into the filament 3D printer market.

With their new Magneto X, they are shaking things up a bit and adding their MagXY magnetic levitation linear motor system. Here’s what you need to know.

Magneto X Main Feature

Just to clarify, linear motors are electric motors that produce linear motion, instead of rotational motion.

They are made up of two main components: a stator and a mover, which create a magnetic field that causes the mover to move.

Linear motors like MagXY offers a number of advantages over traditional belts and pulleys that are driven by stepper motors, including:

  • Higher speed: Linear motors have less friction than stepper motors, allowing the Magneto X to print at speeds up to 800mm/s.

  • Better precision: Linear motors are more precise than stepper motors, resulting in smoother and more precise prints.

  • Lower noise: Linear motors are quieter than stepper motors, making them more suitable for home or office use.

An impressive feature-rich innovative 3D Printer

I think the Peopoly Magneto X is a fantastic addition to the current 3D Printer market. All this focus on speed and large build volumes, Peopoly has it’s sights on a quite large piece of the market and might just grab it.

The incredible feature rich Magneto X brings a larger build volume and (by the looks of it) much more precise motion system for better results. Meaning you end up with both large, fast and pretty 3D prints.

I can’t wait to see the reviews come in on this 3D Printer. I wish I had one myself to try, But I spent my 3D printer budget for september already… My previous experience with Peopoly Moai have been tremendous. I associate them with quality and reliability.

The impressive pricing of Magneto X

Maybe even more impressive is that it’s avaliable for only $1399 as a limited pre-order. That’s just a few hundred more than the Creality K1 Max that only really matches on volume.

You’ll end up paying a little more with the enclosure and cooling fan, but it’s still a very respectable price for this size and amount of features.

After the pre-order period, the price is up to $1999 which still seems totally reasonable and attractive.
