Bambu Lab 3D Printer discount

Bambu Lab just announced a small discount code (their first ever?) on Bambu Lab A1 Mini and Mini Combo.

They don’t do this often so it could be that the larger A1 and A1 Mini are prices fairly close to each other, and most people are getting the bigger A1.

With the code A1M-NY-10 you get 10% off the printer or printer combo. That’s pretty neat! Meaning the already cheap $299 A1 Mini (without AMS) is now $269 before tax/shipping.

So if you are looking to buy your first compact, easy to use 3D printer, this is probably one of the better choices. If you’re unsure, you can always use my free purchase consulting.

The discount lasts until February 19, 2024 and is only valid once per account. It appears Japan is excluded and some other regions/areas might also be excluded.

Are there reasons to get the Bambu Lab A1 Mini instead of the A1?

The price difference of A1 Mini’s $299 ($269 with discount) vs $399 for the A1 isn’t much, and you do get a whopping 187% increased build volume and a bed that is set to reach 100°C.

These are both very similar machines and fantastic 3D printers for beginners, even without purchasing an AMS system.

The smaller build volume does have a function. It keeps projects small, manageble and mistakes even smaller. It could fit with younger users and schools, and the price difference does scale when you consider a school buying 20 or more.
